The ZHL Video Studio is a professional video recording studio for teaching and research at the University of Bayreuth, run by the Centre for University Teaching (Zentrum für Hochschullehre). Here you can record in professional quality – e.g. teaching videos, lecture recordings, interviews or other content – without bringing your own equipment.

The studio works as self-service with professional technology: you book your time, record on your own and then download your recordings via a personal link. A greenscreen and teleprompter are ready to use, and trimming and livestreaming run directly in the browser.

How to use the studio

Downloading your recordings

After the session, your recordings are available via a personal session link. Using this link you can trim the videos in the browser and download them – anytime and without any extra software.
